I am an engineer and MBA and my job was in Nariman Point in Mumbai . We friends used to share a cab in our lunch time and used to go to Bombay Stock Exchange and started going to a broker, investing,made some money and slowly the passion developed.
After having made some money in investments in blue chip shares and my savings, thought I can do better if I trade full time...but market soon proved that I full time trading is a different game altogather....but the passion for markets kept me in the business and it took me 3 years to be a breakeven trader....but once I understood that trading is nothing but a game of probabilities and reward to risk, then there was no looking back...

Yes ST what was it that interested you? there should have been something that would have driven you because those who are not passionate would not reach the end of the tunnel at least in trading one cannot live without passion as we know luck does not favour that much here in long run.
Why I came to trading was initially get rich idea, because I saw one of my cousins go from being an employee in intel to owner of a software firm, he is a business tycoon in singapore now with assets more than 200 crores.
