then sirji where is hammer ... what indicators could have been used today to buy/sell....

Yes.Also there are some green hammers which didn't mark.
Also there are some inverted hammers.

As a thumb rule there should be Sell off.
And RSI < 40.
And a hammer formation has high probability of good move.

Any reason for shorting at the close despite good run with strong volumes in the closing hours.

Already SGX nifty down by 36 points.

Actually speaking, i was long in BNF at 11908 from yesterday but suddenly don't know what happened and i exited 3:25 11945 and shorted from there (so may be some intuition which told me to trade like this, i dont know, now all depend on what will happen tommorrow morning.)

And today i waited to go long when spot is around 11575, but whole day it was only waiting.

Every body talks about "Hammers" here. Even about "Green hammers or inverted hammers or even about a group of hammers". I always though hammers are here to down nails. Sorry about that.
