Day Trading Stocks & Futures

re: Day trading Nifty & Banknifty Futures

I too bot 1850 ce @ 36 after seeing healthraj post , checked charts , targetting ATP , it made high 42 , but fell immediately , sold @ 37 , actually in the same upmove I was trying to exit NF @ 6345, bot @ 6325 , exited @ 6336, so both positions exit suffered :( , as it was a fast move.
Next time quickly place a profit taking 'Stop Loss SELL' order with SELL price 2.5 point below trigger bcoz of low liquidity in SBIN Options. Example Stop Loss SELL @39 with trigger 41.5.
It is FUN when such target order executed within seconds. :)

================

I am confused why this kolaveri D (why surge in BNF)???
Because, these are some easy times for trading when profit booking and reverse trading happens at the same time... :p

Trading is not so complicated what most of traders think. Just wait patiently for the right opportunity to use max position size with small stop loss, when
1 when there is maximum chances of reverse trades (like today) OR 2.When major sup/res broke down.
:D

Already posted similar pictures earlier with same trades and same reasons. ;)

Next time don't miss such opportunities, friends...

Best Wishes.
Happy Trading.
Cheers.

Sir Price Pattern Recognition

With all my respect to the above post, which is by the way very nice, could I ask some Joe Average question on it?

How do traders who do not understand what you post in the above post in the last details take any live trades on that? Only on the support level you show?

As it is pure price action trading what you show, what other help would you give or recommend to them to make there decisions more easy to take any trade on your shown charts?

As you seem to be a pro, you surely understand my simple question.

Please don't call me Sir, this is only 7th year of my trading (out of which first 30 month gone for breakeven :p).
Still, long way to go to establish as a Great Trader (Sir) I am only in my 30s.. :)

Yes it was the perfect example of price action trading using support-resistance and how market tries to fill the gap.
There are trades with upper and lower trend lines and various patterns also. Just see that market hit the upper trend line resistance in last minutes also.

Please go through my previous posts with these two ids to learn more.
I have discussed here many strategies (based on pattern recognition and support resistances) and tools (like fibo retracements, weekly pivots etc) with live example (or in advance eod basis which is live), with examples and charts. I don't give too much importance on indicators as they are either Lagging or Leading.
I am mainly a price action trader. So, I have shared (name and download links) of some of my favorite books of Thomas Bulkowski’s too. Please go through my previous posts of this two ids to learn more. Just open and read the past charts at the time of my post. All is recorded here to learn again and again.

That is the beauty of Traderji, anyone can track previous posts and timings and see past charts.

You can track past posts of some very good price action traders like HEM & SmatTrade also to get some very good trading idea. There are other friends too. :)

Best Wishes.
Happy Trading.
Cheers.

Sir Jai Mata Di

Age has nothing to do with being called Sir or not being called Sir. I was called Sir in my very young years because of the respond I had in what I did and in what I was in charge for in my very young years. Same age like you.

Depending in which society we live, even young people can be called Sir when they behave according to there position with respect to others and the respond they are able to practice. Respond to what they are asked for and respond to which they are are asked for in there specific society or job. This various from country to country and culture to culture. Probably the most mis understanding subject in the whole world and the reason for most aggression between many people from different places in this nice world. This comment clearly is not written or belongs to any of this stupid fanatical religions groups out there in the wild. They are all sick and have to be fought as hard as we can. No mercy with any group of them as they do not have any mercy with the rest of the world.

With that post I just wanted to give you a new idea in a very positive way why even you can be called: Sir. And I do not have any problem to do so now when I post here.

Stocks fall on Fed view

Stock markets worldwide slipped on Wednesday after a budget deal in Washington removed some of the fiscal uncertainty hanging over the U.S. economy, boosting expectations the Federal Reserve may soon start reducing its stimulus.

The Fed will hold its last policy meeting of the year next week, on December 17-18.

"It certainly does appear that a window of opportunity could be opening up for the Fed to act next week without a sharp market reaction, said CMC Markets strategist Michael Hewson. "The only question remaining is as to whether they will avail themselves of it."
