you don't play short side?....because where you must have exited must be down signal and if PE was bought then there was 200pts down from there in a clear trend in SD channel

I do, but at that time though the trend was mildly down, the puts weren't increasing much in price and the calls had greater movement. That too was a deciding factor in buying the CE, expected reversal.

buying on dip people are always more than sellers and that is reflected in the call v/s put charts I think

but the futures chart was definitely in positional DT

i think its combination of short covering and lack of new commitments, ppl are winding their old positions and waiting for news.
