That no one forewarned fellow members, here in the thread, that we are going to see a big upmove, so as to save them from a big loss (like onlinegtrash faced today)

As you give all the predictions here in the thread, why did you not shout at the moment it happens? Why did you not post and tell: Now?

Why?

And if you did not expect such a strong move, but an up move as many did, even stupid foreigners like me, why should others expect such a huge jump and not a decent up move?

Would this mean your prediction has its limits seen?

And why did you not warn Onlinegtrash in any way possible by your self (PM, E-Mail, Telephone call or what so ever)?

Why?

And why do you even come up with such a comment here as not even you are able to predict such quick moves?

no problem... a forewarning about a upward spike?
It will be too much to ask for

I exited somewhere in the half way thru rally and by the time reversed...
I was able to capture few points of the 'head' of the snake pattern.

My thought process went something like:
since spot nifty is struggling to cross 7550... and it has been slowly sliding down all day long
till 7509... so may its going to plunge straight towards 7400 *anytime*... may be not today..but in few days... so shorting could be a good idea!

If I weren't on short side.. guess.. I would have entered long..somewhere half through
the snake body... where I exited with loss...

This Iraq crisis is getting towards war with US sending troops! This does not look good at all.
This is going to be difficult to handle. I think today was spike before the down slide coming soon coz war is tricky to handle!

Always remember that downmove was a corrective move and we are in upmove so corrections will be slow grind,frustating and the upmoves will be strong and powerful.When one trades a correction, he has to be very alert to see that the main trend does not re-surface.We are still not in a impulsive downwave.

I had posted 1-2 days ago that before the budget, I am not expecting a big drop in prices but a pre budget rally is certainly expected sooner or later. Today no one expected the move to start and I took a short trade at 7563 and covered at support.Today the market view was sideways with down bias but as a trader we must understand that markets can change directions anytime that is what it did today.

You really remind me of a Maths Teacher of mine . I still remember the stick in his hands ready to hit the lads.

I had my Maths,Science and English teachers too freely using their sticks ( sometimes even dusters) and I used to be at the receiving end as I was "a lad asking too many questions( for their comfort) and not keeping quiet"....

Even teachers in the past in Switzerland used sticks. I remember a situation from my time in school where the teacher was a woman from the monastery. We called here: Penguin. She was doing Math. There have been many ways to make out fun of here. But once a day it was too much and she started to run behind an other school comrade in the class room with here stick and all of us where screaming and laughing. That was fun.

Just one spike made everyone excited ? I thought maybe they raised it higher to short at higher levels from tomorrow coz with war looming and crude getting worse, we will be affected.
But I believe we may not break 7500....but we would definitely see 100 points down :thumb: coz too many negative events!
