its because d BNF is stuck in a trivial range of 15000/15555 range for quite some time

Yes Sudoku, agreed fully. We must explain why the action was taken ( the person may argue against it ,but still we take firm action.) But generally all actions like ban are after giving warnings and 1-2 chances....but inspite of those warnings people get into defiant mood and challenge the warnings and keep repeating the wrong behaviour.

It is possible that many a times a wrong post is not reported and it does not come to the notice of Moderator/Adnin. as we dont read all the posts . But when something is reported , we have taken action by giving a warning to the member concerned. But banning we do only after repeated violations....

So many times it appears that no action is taken...but a warning is issued and you will see that the trouble stops ( atleast temporarily).
