I am also investing in 4 mutual funds ...instead of doing SIP , I have enabled for online investing and whenever there is a dip of 500 points I buy these funds....in case there is no dip in a month then I buy the months budget on last day of the month...that is my way of SIP.

can u name them? There's spree . One can take reference from valueresearchonline. If one just goes by top rated funds but their ratings change periodically .

2) Birla Sunlife Top 100 fund Growth

3) Birla Sunlife Long Term Advantage Fund ( Growth)

4) Franklin India Bluechip fund (Growth )

Do they give an annual dividend ? How much (in Rs., not %).

yes they do give dividend. The dividend will depend upon the dividend of each of the 50 nifty stocks combined in that ratio.

Both....just mentioning what I am holding...as I see very bullish period for next 5-7 years...real effect of the growth will come from 2 years from now...

One can consider SIP in diversified equity mutual funds also....

Rs 10 K invested in Reliance Growth fund in 1996 is more than rs 6.5 L today.....

But be invested for next 4-5 years definately...

thanks for your sharing & help us at every step of our trading journey..
as you mentioned market will be good for investors for long term horizon..whats ur views about..how market will be for swing trader( horizon for 1 day to 1 week) ..I mean from last year may2013..market gave good range & trending environment for swing traders ..will it be continue? Will those market will be good for swing traders & intraday tradrs also?
no body can give us better answer of this..as u have been in markets more than decades & u have seen all market cycles..so u can better guide us
