Day Trading Stocks & Futures

re: Day trading Nifty & Banknifty Futures

Hi,
This is my first post in this thread, though I was following this thread for quite sometime. The following post of mine, though from a different thread fits perfectly for this thread. Being a new member I never be able to gather enough courage to ask for it. Want other members support to eliminate such faking.

Very much likely
But why blame him only

There are many posts in various threads where many members are faking everyday about their trades EOD, though they never post in real time (or even if they post it real time, it is of very vague in nature/meaning). And the interesting fact is that some members do it on a regular basis and no one asks for the proof, like image of contract notes or of tradebook or of orderbook, etc etc. Perhaps every one knows that the concerned trader is faking.

Even a newbie like me can fake at the end of the day, that I earned 5k, 10K or post a chart EOD, marking my trades that I bought here, sold there and so on so forth. No intelligence is required in posting trades EOD, or chart EOD.

What I think, it should be made mandatory to post proof of ones trades, by the evening, if a member posts (read boasts) about his trades or earnings, by themselves or if someone asks for the proof (to start with).

In my very humble opinion, one should focus on our own trading and in engaging in meaningful conversation with the people on this board.

If someone on the board fakes his trades/results, its only to his own detriment. It should least bother us.

Further no one here needs to prove anything to anyone. So no need to post daily contract notes :D

Agree with Nirav.. itz all virtual world. Whether someone is really making money or just faking it shud hv no affect on you (or nyone). Enjoy the world of trading nd coming across diff kinda people. If you are serious about trading then you will hv to do all the hard work on your own :) Nyone making money or loosing can in no way help you be successful or a failure in trading. Itz all one man show nd the man is always you :)

Well said. When i tell people how costly my trading education has been the usual reaction I get is "Dude you could get a masters from standford university at that cost".

I get that too ... Come to think of it, I could have gotten myself an inline 4 litre instead of a quarter parallel twin ...

But hey, there are two types of people in this world.

Ones who understand trading as a business and ones who dont.

Masters frm stanford guarantee a million doller job but yr cost towards learning trading dosnt guarantee any damm shi**
At the end of the day "learning" is what matters. Just because someone got into stanford doesn't guarantee "learning" till he/she actually learns :)
There are some things a college degree can ensure and then there are some things it cannot. Thankfully, for me trading has taught things which I think no college degree can EVER teach.

For less fortunate people who cannot get masters from stanford and a million dollars job thereafter, trading guarantees good income, no bossing, no politics, no pink slips, no deadlines and no retirement, no boredom.....lifelong fun...( all that if learnt...loosing money in losses does not guaratee any "learning")
