Everyone talks of India's demographic dividend but our population simply isn't that great. Compare aur resourcefulness and you'll get the answer.
Labour without requisite knowledge and experience will either not get any work or will be underpaid and they will run for freebies and steal,kill as is starting to happen in many parts especially of North India.
Agreed. The demographic dividend is a good headliner! It reminds me of the quote,
"In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they aren't." A larger workforce does not mean that it's good. Just look at the type of work, quality of work, the wages earned, value-add, etc. It makes me sad.
On the optimistic side, something is better than nothing!
