I have created this thread to do comparison of discount brokers.
There are lot of similar threads. But I did not find what I was looking for.
Need your help to get all the relevant information and keep it in one place.

I am currently with Zerodha and it is working for me as I am not that active in the market and has to take a break in trading every now and then due to personal work.

In the future when I will resume trading with huge volumes may be a more discount broker will be useful. Thus the thread.

For members information i also received a call from Alice Blue stating they have Rs.5555/ plan with five times intra day exposure in MCX and NSE FNO.
They also have a new plan of Rs.9999/- onetime life brokerage with same exposure limits for MCX and NSE. But i was told these offers will be open for a months time only.

In between i had opened an account with another good broker since Alice blue had failed to respond to my account opening queries. I also inquired about the delay in response to queries and the reason given was their sales and marketing department was reorganized recently and hence the delay.

The above is for members information only. I have no relationship or account with Alice Blue. So kindly verify the same.

More over Transaction cost of Delhi Branch clients are on lower side

Transaction cost for all states or only Delhi people?

A. I have opted for this Plan with Wisdom. Their rep has visited my place and collected forms from My residence in Noida today !!!!!!!

A. Dont know exactly (May be becoz its limited period offer)

A. Free account opening charges with unlimited trading for a period of one month they are offering for new accounts. But Both things could not be availed (5555 & free account) simultaneously.

A. Not exactly, but much participation in this thread and writing few posts in favour of Wisdom and I could be marked with a tag of Spammers.

How much?
Transaction cost for all states or only Delhi people?

A. All accounts of Delhi Branch/Wisdom Capital would be having 30% transaction charges on lower side they have confirmed me.

Zerodha added more states for different stamp duty structure.
Finally some concrete info on stamp duty on various state.
All traders should ask their broker to give them benefit of stamp duty if they are eligible for a lower value as per the table below rather than giving a flat value of 0.002%

Trading with Alice Blue / Wisdom is going ok. I would say 95% problems are ironed out. Occasionally there is some issue (terminal not opening before 8.45, some position conversion issues, some rare cases of terminal slowing down) but these are reducing and I am comfortable now in recommending them to traders who want high leverage and low charges. At the end of the day I get 10x leverage and industry lowest charges, also they are responsive to complaints and try to fix the issues as they come up. Day to day trading and execution is fine, speed is not an issue and I don't miss Zerodha in a major way nowadays. Reliability seems ok, they are a large company and will not close down suddenly it would seem. Calls are always answered.

I am interested in opening/testing an account with Aliceblue thro' WC with small fund, since its the lowest brokerage ever..!
Happy to hear its all right now with AB with their platform and execution from your last post...
any more positive & negative reviews about them from you, since you have been trading with them from quite sometime now, would be highly appreciated and welcomed!!

I just visited their website. Found some information vague. Can you clarify, do they allow to trade in all segments under freedom pro 2222 plan, or is it limited to NSE F&O and cash?

1. Will they allow you to trade in all segments with this amount/plan?! Are there no charges apart from it?

2. Is this plan come with any cap on trading, or can you trade unlimitedly?

3. Do they offer single platform for all segments?

NB: Kindly let us know us your account opening time and trading etc. experience once your account becomes operational.

First we will consider the NSE FO or NFO for short. We will consider MCX separately.
BSE FO or BFO has not matured yet. Also the same case is MCX-SX FO. Some brokers provide trading on all or some of them. NFO is main thing that we will consider here.
I am not interested in NSE Cash /NSE Cash Intraday so will not include in the comparison.

Please validate all this data. Let me know if there is any wrong data. Also help me fill up the remaining fields.
Also suggest if we should include any other broker for comparison.
