You have to select advance options for output and ensure that scrip code and scrip symbol field is selected at appropriate position.You can shuffle the positions of your chosen fields in the right output box. That should solve your problem.

hi pankaj, I want to download the stocks data in yahoo format ( having .ns with them).

For tht some option is also given in output settings. But I don't understand where i am wrong.

I tick on both boxes ( In amiBroker and In yahoo).
but still getting in same format( having EQ)

can u plz tell me how to do this.

If possible then in step by step manner.

Hi chintan

I hope you are using latest version from my briefcase at rediffmail.com
uncheck default in the advance Output settings and then check bot AMIBroker and Yahoo.

Also ensure that either or both but at least one of the check box DateEOD and StockEOD are checked

For abundent caution just toggle check box twice and see that both are checked.

It will give you ( character symbol code with NS or BO (depending on which exchange is selected)

I just tried with source code and it was working fine

You have to download msinet.ocx. Check the thread. Link to download is given in previous postings.It will be available from micorsoft website.Once downloaded place it in windows/system32 directory and register it. Procedure is also described in previous posts.

However , it appears you have used either upgrade or patch without running setup which is main file. If you run setup all files will be installed.

Kindly clarify you have a new set up exe.file with all latest updates and patches. The reason is unable to figure out from your briefcase folder whether got to run updates and patches after installing set up file. Too many files in the folder including updates and patches.

It could be very convienient if you could upload one fully updated exe setupfile which can be used for installation rather than many updates and patches. Correct me if i am wrong. So does the new link given by i your latest reply meet the need.

Hi saji

I can understand the confusion. Just to clarify setup file ,pointed out in the link is full setup file with all dependencies and orther files required for eoddlc.

upgrade is for those who have already installed old version and have old support files.

Patch is just executable files which needs to be replaced in the programme folder by those who have last version.

There is one exe file for those braveheart who can get rest of the support files and dependencies and do it by oneself.

However, I will reduce all this to two. One upgrade and one full setup when I update it after attending to all requests mentioned in above posts.

I am regularly using your s/w for updating my Ami database.S/w is excellent and thanks a lot.But I would like to invite your attention to a small problem. For some tickers duplicate rows are coming in converted file and this is not being loaded correctly to Ami
I am attaching here with the problem causing entries dt 01/08/2007.
