EOD Download/ Convert from NSE and BSE

Hello to everyone,

I have seen a few requests to Mr. Zha to upload the latest EODDLC or activate the link to the briefcase. But it seems that Mr. Zha is not currently responding.

Will it be possible for any other forum member to upload the latest EODDLC and the updates with the instructions which the member might have downloaded when the download link was active.

Hi Mr.PKJha and Board Members,
I am downloading NSE/BSE data through the software "Eod Download/Convert" of Mr.PK Jha since last two years for my
tech soft "Fibotrader" and it was downloading data very smoothly. But since last one month it is downloading all the datas except the EOD data of NSE Indices. The data is downloading from NSE site without quotes and symbols, only header. I have uninatalled and installed so many times, but no result.

Its quite a long time that i posted on this forum.Since your request was specific and the fact that you are using EODDlc for two years i felt compelled to look into this issue. The reason for problem is change in NSE data pattern. I have updated that part which addresses your concern. Just download the exe file( compressed as Rar archive file) and overwrite old exe.

Since you have old setupfiles, you can reinstall from that and then overwrite old exe. Nothing else needs to be done.

in case you face any other specific problem you can post here with error.log file( found in BIN directory)


To others who are requesting setup file

there are excellent downloading utitlities available on this forum thanks to great work done by some of the members. please use them .
EOdDlc is work of amaturish kind and i am not able to give enough time and attention it deserves to keep updated. It not only needs some updattion but major code rewrite for which i am short of time.

I thank all those who have used it and encouraged me in developing it.
in case i am able to write a new version altogether, I will post it here first.

Would you please upload the setup file for the latest vesion Mr. Jha's utility. It will be of great help to the members of the community.

You can also send the setup file to me on rshah7894 at yahhhoooo dot com.

PS> at times yahoo does not allow you to send the exe file and in such a case, you can rename the file by remove the ".exe" part from its name.

it doesn't make sense to post old setup files, which may not work due to changes in data provided by exchanges.

i am just checking all sourcecode and trying to validate the code and make changes where needed. feedback is always important to improve it. if no feedback is received then it is assumed that code is working fine since one may not have time to keep up with changes as I rarely use these data. So users have to post feedback to get response, especially when it is non commercial.

Let me see if i can post updated version of EoDDlc setup , though there are many good utilities available and under active improvements.
