Hi Soumya,

I am new to Fibotrader, I have seen u r post here and thanks for your valuable information.

Can u please help me on following problems?
1) U have uploaded combine data for NSE-BSE, while I follow NSE scripts only so can u tell me how I can add NSE scripts and there data only.
2) Can I prepare daily EOD data from NSE Bhavcopy?? if yes please provide procedure.

3) If I want to prepare my own list of scripts and update their data only as I follow only few selected scripts only.

download only NSE data from http://www.traderji.com/62684-post1.html
just create a folder say NSE in Fibo and import that data into it.

carefully read my 1st post.

start using Fibotrader. u will understand how to do it.

please tell, how to set the backtesting period in fibotrader? Right now it is backtesting ( both with default and user defind backtesting rule) my trading system with start data upto enddata available for charting.

The way this usually works is to simply load less data by using the clock icon in the toolbar.

Thanks for all your posts and solution to installation related querries. I have downloaded Fibo and Your latest ASCII_NSE.rar file.I have main script files and qoutes_0 file(first paart only) also but still fibotrader is not working .
It shows MISSING ALL message.

no need Quotes_0 file since u have ASCII_NSE file.
just open fibo -> create a new folder say NSE -> import the ASCII_NSE data into NSE folder using QuoteMan.

I was wondering if you could post something new that you have found or discovered in past several months in fibotrader, may be the templates/profiles, the scripts that you are using for the scans or you could share them. I think you shared the last main few months back, please post the main/templates or the scripts if there is something new.

Its been a long time that you started this thread and introduced Fibotrader (sometime in May), I was using Fcharts at that time and was introduced to Fibotrader by you, quite an interesting tool, with all great features (lacks bit in speed, but its ok) and you have been supporting by replying to the queries. Great job, hats off to people like you in this forum who are helping out people.

Sorry to say that THE HOLY GRAIL is still not found. Searching is going on.

If u want something new shift to Amibroker or Metastock.

PRICE TELLS EVERYTHING, NOT INDICATOR.

Yes!!
"Price Movements is only HOLY GRAIL that exsist in real Trading World".
Unfortunatelly every second person is trying to implement it in some buzzing indicators, making it secondary. And Price Movements are best interpreted by combination of 15-min, 60-min and daily candlestick charts. Nothing else i require to make a successful trade!!
