Hi Soumya,

I have not used Metastock. So, no knowledge about this 'feature'. I use AmiBroker and it automatically updates all charts as soon as new data is entered. Thanks for the information about MS.

If u use bse-nse's data, delete the open interest column before importing.
Could you please explain this?
What is the open interest column? I have downloaded and unzipped Update NSE & BSE 08-06-2006. In that bse udate and cm update excel files are there.In those i don't see any open interest column.
Pl.help.

Hi Soumya,

Is there any way to disable automatic addition of symbols while manually uploading data in fibotrader? It would avoid addition of unwanted symbols from NSE EOD data, and restrict updation of selected symbols only. The option is available in amibroker.

there is no option available in Fibo to prevent importing new symbols.
u have to delete unwanted symbols manually from source file b4 importing.

thanks a lot again for your help.............i downloaded your main files and pasted it to the data folder.............but unlike the default chart sceen where the "ADD INDICATOR" and the "DELETE INDICATOR" commands were docked in the centre of the screen.........in your chart screen its missing..........can you tell me how to get them back on to the chart screen........

i also like to see the weekly and the daily charts simultneously.........can you tell me how to get them in one screen.....

very easy. just create two templates of different time span i.e. one daily and one weekly and open chart with two templates seperately. set these chart horizontally...from windows->Align Automatically.

How do you update an IEOD file into fibotrader. I tried using the method outlined for EOD data, but it simply refuses to update. If someone has worked out a solution to this, I would be much grateful. Thanks
