Some bug has crept in when Shankar modified the scripts. We will see that later. Till then insert a blank line at the end as he has suggested.

@Shankar -- Can you add a Restart RTDMAN button somewhere? This will enable us to add/remove scrips on the fly. Since RTDMan stops and starts within fraction of a second, that slight gap would not make any difference.

Hi Friends,
Somebody pls help me............... I upgraded to Amibroker 5.9 ( without thinking)....now I cant save my current data....I see only the old charts....Is there a way save my data...

Just copy paste and backup database folders to other drive from c:/programfiles/amibroker folder.then install old version and copy paste backup database to amibroker folder in c:/drive.hope it will work!

Hi all,
Please help

I have been using the Nest RTD/ ABbackfill utility developed by for real time updation from Zerodha trader for the past 3 months, and it has been working seamlessly. Many thanks to josh1/tracerbullet for helping us newbies.

I have been using Getbhavcopy for dowloading EOD data. My problem is that the utility has stopped working from January 2015 onwards.The program doesn't respond while clicking the exe file. I have done the following steps to try again

1. Downloaded the Getbhavcopy again and installed it.
2. Tried in a different computer.
3. Changed the system date
4. Switched the Antivirus off

Please help me solve this issue, as I have been relying heavily on this program for EOD data. Is there a newer version available?? What might be the problem??

Shankar , Josh1 or TracerBullet pls help me : how 2 get Intraday cumulative Volume Data instead of Differential volume either thru Afl / RTD scripts or thru NEST/ AMI/ RTD settings ? Thank u all.

Dear Mr Josh,

I am a great fan of your work. Have used the product in the past and successfully pulled data to amibroker using RT nest, unfortunately I accidentally deleted the previous set up and trying to reload every thing again,
I followed the instruction, and been able to pool the data to excel sheet, but the amibroker is not starting after pressing the start button.

I did the excel exclusion thing, enabled macro for all, kept the files with exclusion set up of antivius, even turned down the antivirus,but unable to start the start RT macro.
I checked the module1 on VBA preject and checked MkDir ("C:\RT") file, its not green though,

I checked macro set up and saw callamibroker when i push it its giving run time error 91 saying "object variable not set...."

I am out of my wits and haven't got a clue what to do, please help
I am using windows 7 and excel 2007 32 bits

Yes. Open AmiBroker before RTDMan and open your RTD database. That will do it.

Sorry if I didn't search thoroughly

The problem I mentioned earlier, ie getbhavcopy not working since Jan 1, 2015, is mentioned in the getbhavcopy site itself. New links are given for downloading the updated program in the site. it seems that the Getbhavcopy.dbf file has to be updated.

I downloaded the latest version and is now working absolutely fine.:clap:

@ Dr.Syamantak,

Remove Nest, AmiBroker from C drive and install them to any other drive. I suppose "StartRT" button is not working. Check whether macros are enabled in Excel.

If you are not using RTNest for other calculations, use the new RTD utility. Look for posts by user Shankar4KV above. He has given links in his signature.
