Free realtime software

I tried using AB again for the third time.

1. I was able to get some charts going this time.
Good for you. There are fast learning people and there are very slow learning people

2. Still unable to adjust the chart properties as i like it .e.g change candlestick colors, size ..etc.
Not able to change candlestick color? You have to be kidding me.

Well as you can't seem to read anyway it would be useless to tell you how find preferences. But tell me do you want a color contest or do you wanna trade?

What is pale? That's the best joke of an obvious troll I have ever heard of.

It's for professionals not for mommy's boys
Well NT and the other software its name I already have forgotten may be free but they look and behave like free buggy software. Starting them, going to dinner and coming back and it is still trying to start. Producing unreliable backtesting results, crashing all the time etc.

okay agreed. In my opinion, there are better alternatives to AB. if you like AB , use it. I never said its bad and should not use it.I just find AB difficult to use. It's not user friendly and charts are NOT professional quality at all.

NT never crashed or is buggy. Its a solid product and more professional grade than AB.

Also dweto, don't take it personally. I never made any personal attack on anyone here. Please try to be more professional around here.

I m simply arguing on the product and not on anyone's preferences and usage.

Saying things are "trolls" is totally uncalled for. Also saying things "Slow and fast learners". are you implying people are dumb here and you are the smart one here.

please maintain dignity of the forum.

NT is buggy! And it is very slow. So it's far away from being professional. On the other side AB is much more flexible and much more powerful. You just have no idea because you can't even find simple settings like changing bar color. Laughable.

It took NT many years to finally introduce 64-bit version which AB has been offering for years. And AB offers multithreaded charting, backtesting, optimization, exploration and scanning. And all with very reliable results.

Does Ninjatrader provide explorations, does it provide custom backtester interface, does it provide free API, etc... like AB? No. Ideas of AB users can be written in AFL, C, C++ or .NET (C#, VB.NET, VC.NET, F#). It offers integration of vbscript and jscript although it is not recommended as they are slower than AFL. And regarding charting ... IMO it is the best I've used so far. And i've tried NT, MC, TS and some others.

The best one is that support listens to their customers. Wishes of customers are being made real if it is wished by many. AB is one of the fastest growing softwares introducing more revolutionary stuff in shortest time. It is evolving continuously.

I use NT on a daily basis and i don't find it buggy or slow. Its quite fast actually.

NT is also more user friendly then AB, that's why i AB is not very useful.
Trading is complicated itself. why make it more complicated by using a non-user friendly tool.

Again, i can't find the simple settings exactly, because AB is NOT USER FRIENDLY.

How come other charting applications are easy to use?.

These features are of no use to me. I use a naked chart for my analysis. so i cannot comment on it.
