Lot of members are writing in Hinglish which is well accepted, why not pure hindi.

Today I was reading an interview of an educated and progressive farmer. He has 6 acres land and he makes a profit of 18-24 Lacs per year after all the expences. He pays no Income Tax and he is better off than many of us traders.

in agriculture hard work plus some luck factor also monsoon etc , kabhi fasal kharab bhi ho jati hai , SL hit :D
A farmer once told me that one good year of crops pays for the next 3-4 years' expenses. They expect some bad news when there is the "Adhik maas" in the Hindu calendar - maybe bad rains or insects or something.

But agriculture does not attract any income tax and most of the crops are sold in advance i.e. within 1 month of the plantation or even before sowing. Agriculture me bhi futures ka dhandha chalta hai.

Maybe the corporates will enter agriculture in a big way and find a way to make every year a good year.
