General Trading Chat

Sir,it is very difficult to find who is earning 20 L and who is earning 2 L.farmer will not show the income.I think some farmer earning 20 lakh in 2 acre and one is earning 5 lakh in 10 acre.Govt will not able to find that. how one should justify tax even if taxed on holding of land.I thing before taxing farmers permit them to fix there own price, let market decide.Start Futures contrat of 3 years in commodities like in US .Dont stop farmers from selling its crop in any state(major problem).2 years back when paddy was on peak UP farmer can not sell in Haryana when the price is high there. There are lot of restictions in selling crop from one state to another.I have 14 acre of land but I am not able to earn more than 8 lakhs. These bloddy suagr mills not paying.
Today's farmer is not a farmer in that typical sense. He has more evolved towards being more of a businessman. He flexes his muscles occasionally to wrestle out a higher map/sap, free power, more compensation from land acquisition and what not. The real poor are those tilling his fields or marginal farmers.

Rightly said sir.

BTW, 7th Pay Commission is not that juicy in hand of common man....
Government jobs are already quite juicy specially if you compare them with the private sector. Compare the benefits, productivity of guv vs private, take into account job security and retirement benefits and I am not event considering graft income. They have inflation indexed pensions and what not...
Also 25-30% irrespective of yr performance I would take it hands down...

Situation differs for same holding from Punjab to Bundelkhand to MP.

why tied up with trading, go get a govt job.

In my city there are atleast 1000 panipuri, fast-food cart stalls. I visit weekly once. That guy become a good friend while having the conversation with him, He gives his income details. They are making atleast 1500rs profit/day. I asked, do you paying IT. He laughed, but sad part is they paying tips(To Polish, else they show ****) 200rs/day. App 60k per year. which is more than their Income tax slab. I said if you all form union/association and pay the proper IT, then you can demand protection from government. But who is going to bell the cat.

This is one example , there many business like this. They giving more money to govt officials/local politicians, which is very higher than if they pay IT. If reforms happen here, Government get more revenue and they (businessmen) gets respect/recognition.

vijayanscbe,
How much do you think daytraders should earn/profit/day, after paying all the taxes compared to other professions.

Seniors,
In day trading what is maximum qty a day trader can trade.
If daytraders trade max qty will daytraders get a chance to get out of wrong trade with max qty at desired price or the sl order placed.
I have experienced with small quantities some times sl order at desired price will not trigger and have to book loss or reverse trades at market prices.

one guy told here he trades 2500 Q in NF day trading , many guys trading 100 Lots (of 50 lot size) earlier in NF , but dont know how they handle slippage issues with so big quantity. there is a limit beyond that day trading with big quantity may not be profitable/risky.
one thing is sure , slippage is huge in BNF. so with big quantity in BNF swing/positional trading is right way .
