"One interesting thing i found in 2015 is , few famous broking houses even turn to act like bucket shoppers and market makers and they even switch off the server of the online traders prior to a fall or an up move and trap them else freeze the terminal or you automatically logged out from server and they are getting paid well for this game! later message and rumour floating is "technical issue in NSE!"

Saw this on the internet is this the cause for recent our @@##@ platform issues just joking....

Big institutions and operators buy secret and government informations decisions prior to being released publicly...

They have their positions before the news...

That's how they are right almost every time... If not right they have money to manage their positions for months

Yeah, that's how I was thinking it can happen in Indian scenario. You are not allowed to exactly borrow shares or short them, it's just that you liquidate some of your existing holdings of the same shares at a higher price and buy them back at a lower price.:thumb:
In effect, you are just averaging down the cost of your holdings.
NSE do have SECURITIES LENDING & BORROWING MARKET.
It is there since 2008 I guess but the implementation is bad.
Nobody uses it so no liquidity.

One question to Crude Oil traders :

How much capital you use for 1 Lot or 1 mini Lot ?
a) for intraday trading =>> ???
b) for swing trading =>> ???

I think am using high leverage.
at present m using 5k per mini lot (50k per lot) for intraday trading.
earlier using 15 mini lots for 50k but found that risky.

[margin required is 21k per lot(or 10 mini lots) half of it for intraday ]

For crude Intraday I use 100k per mega and 15K for mini this is standard
however some time it depends on SL I use double BB method and SL will be wide as 25 to 30 points then lot size will adjust accordingly.
