General Trading Chat

I will give you an example of fear of pulling the trigger. I am long in swing and I had posted in the thread....my initial stop was some 18 points...and market kept doing up 60 points, down 30 points for last 2-3 days...but never went below my buy level....At that point I had no clue whether this trade will be a winner or a loser...but as I have a large profit on my last trade ,there is no tension...that does not mean that as I have large profit from last short trade, I will be relaxed in loss....I will get out in 10-15 points....but no tension if you have large profits in your pocket...

Now this trade is also going to be a winner and so after this trade the next trade ...same process....

Quite a bad day for me from psychological perspective. Had no access to market in initial half an hour, then took a forced short in the fear of losing out, obviously losing 20 points. Took long at 7500, covered when market got stuck at 7512. Another forced short at 7550, again sitting on losses.

Way to go for being a professional trader

PS : For a past few days, planning to look for a part time job in the evening, probably coaching for CAT etc. Aim is to have a cash flow to cover living expenses and also something to divert mind away from the markets. What do seniors think about such a plan? It's a genuine query, any help will be appreciated.:thumb:

coaching can be done if that interests you for cash flow

on trading note that every resistance is not for short and every support is not for long....mkt does these pullbacks.

like for e.g. today 15ama is not violated at all...in a strong up trend

You must take up coaching etc for cash flow if trading is not giving enough cash flow...dont strain yourself...nothing wrong in taking a small break and earn money from other source and improve cash flow....good idea...go for it.
