Yes, positive for EMs, the taps will stay open till Sep 2016. But what will be the effect on interest rate cut cycle ?? Availability of liquidity is a major factor. So, will the enhanced liquidity prove a deterrent ??

Another thought, the companies doing business in the Eurozone will benefit hugely. TCS is the first one that comes to mind.

Dear TracerBullet,

I have been using Josh's excel utility as my datafeed to Ami since long time. Had tried to create my own utility in dot net sometime back. But could not find any success to implement the RTD server in dot net.

Reason behind this attempt is -

1. All in one downloader to download EOD, IEOD (1M/5M) data for 100+ scrip, and intraday data feed for for selected scrips with a nice GUI.
2. Due to looping in excel to read data, few ticks are missed in between..
3. want to get rid of memory heavy excel.

Do you have any idea if this can be done in dot net or any other ways to achieve it,,?? Thinking of giving it a retry now..

I already wrote rtd client 'RTDman' last year in c++ for same reasons. Its GPL so you can look at source code. Its console application. Only works with NOW/NEST

Josh/Shankar have backfill tool that is now also a GUI for RTDman. GUI is in active development now so may have some bugs.

EOD - i dont need it, there are some open source tools ( hajika / NSE EOD Data Downloader v3.0 / ABCD ) that you can look into.

Few members have been asking me how to see all my posts togather at one place instead of searching all the pages of various threads. The procedure is as under :

Go to search....advanced search....tick show results as posts.....and in member type my forum ID as Smart_trade and carry out the search.

The search will list all my posts ( approximately 8000 in numbers) .These will list all posts, small and large,important and unimportant .So it will be a pretty big job to read the first 1-2 lines from the search and then click on that post which seems interesting and informative.

One can get all posts of any member by following this procedure.
