General Trading Chat

@Smart_Trade,

I have started reading about TD Sequential, and currently reading about Intersection. The book says the intersections are not necessary for Index futures and stocks which are susceptible for bankruptcy. Are you necessarily using it for NIFTY/BNF ?

What are your experience with TD Roc, S/R and trendline mentioned in the book ?
I use intersection for Index also though it is not necessary. So I mark the counts with intersection and without intersection. Intersection ensures that the brakes have been applied, When there is no intersection, TD Combo is likely to give a signal as the move is verticle.

Those small systems like TD Rock ,TD Meghan etc are no good. S/R is good...trendlines also is good if you trade with it. The best is TDST,TD Sequential and TD Combo.

I could find old collection of my Sequential and combo posts compiled by one of our members. These are old posts but may be useful in understanding the technique.

The name of the method is wrongly written by the compiler as TDST method, it should be TD Sequential Method.

Uploading my understanding on TDST sequential so far on current Sell setup and countdown on NIFTY spot.

Steps Taken -

1. Identified the Sell Setup.
2. Checked for valid top at 9th candle
3. Looked for Intersection - Countdown begins
4. IN between also looked for setup cancellation by - Nested setup or Setup-recycle.
5. Check the 13th bar countdown qualifier.

@Smart_Trade, Are these steps correct. Or anything missed ??

Another thing, If we apply the Countdown and Setup on NIFTY future chart, then countdown 13 completed earlier. So what is the correct chart to use this technique ? SPOT or future ?

Well done :clapping::clapping:

Futures sometime gives wrong information due to cash/future gap which keeps varying. So I track both futures and cash charts. I trust cash charts more than futures charts...but such difference will be 1-2 days only.

Edit : Red TDST also correct
