General Trading Chat

Can the seniors please explain how the market can react to tomorrows RBI news. ?

How has it done in the past. Ive read in the forum that people usually stay away from trading on policy days.

But don't the forum rules bar one from posting realtime ?
Yes, forum rules do not allow posting trades unless the trades are supported by some reasons. The posting of trades serve no purpose other than showing how great a trader one is, how accurately one can forecast the market and forums are not meant for that. Forums are meant for discussions on trading methods, sharing. For competition or benchmarking or ego satisfaction , Indian Trading League or Zerodha Opentrade is there and people can show their great trades results there.

We are not here to verify if someone is a good trader, bad trader or ok trader. We are here to seek help and our understanding.

And to stay alert on activities of tipsters and scamsters. :)

Yes, exactly. I find this forum extremely useful for learning, analysis and interaction with a like minded group with shared common interest. But still I find lot of instances where live trades are directly / indirectly communicated. That should not be the case. We should all maintain the sanctity of the forum rules.

Buzzstop,

No rate cut has already been factored in by the markets. So if there is one, it will be a positive surprise. As with Fed, the tone and tenor of commentary will matter.... Good monsoon, prices stabilizing in will lead to rate cut...

Most of these are with doubtful intentions. A person like Pratap disclosing his method,AFL and if he posts a real time example to illustrate a point then it is welcome for facilitating the understanding...but someone saying that his methods are secret and goes on posting trades and targets help no one....and anyone having a great secret method is lot of crap and such activities we dont want in the forum. This forum is not a place for bragging or soliciting clients.
