Government can do a lot actually if it wants to do. Reforms in right direction can kickstart the economy. In our economy demand has evaporated and not taking name of returning back. Governments has to take many positive steps so that capex cycle starts again. China grew in double digits for 25 years, no reason why we cannot do the same. Our curse is our vision-less **** netas.
Otherwise...
I will give one simple example..
In 2008...steel demand was there......so much amount (capex) spent and capacity increase has happened.....emotional expansion.....
Now...what happened....
Bhusan Steel / Jindal Steel / Tata Steel all gone mad...with overcapacity / Higher Fixed Expenses.....
So...if we take some action...now...that is based on present situation...
After sometime (say 5 years)....if everything goes right...we claim ...I am right....if thinks gone out of our control...we blame the circumstances....
So..we can...but...economic cycle supports...then we will win...
