Sun Tzu’s most famous quotes is: “Every battle is won before it is fought.” The phrase implies that it is planning and strategy that wins wars and not the battles themselves. Similarly, successful traders commonly quote the phrase: “Plan the trade and trade the plan.” Just like in war, planning ahead can often mean the difference between success and failure.
investment also require plan for stock selection, management of position and Take profit..two( trading and investment ) are different prospects ,but common point is management and take profit .. nice to see people discussing both ideas :)

He's helping Dhaka(DSE) Traders,but not Desi(NSE) traders

Dhaka ke Aaka
ha ha ha

Bhai, your post holds no ground. He was simply asking for data (and not for any strategy) of his country, and nothing else.

For data, I have helped and shared since long (even after being trolled by a bully, banned now), with my data with many members in the past and even now. Recently a member asked for data for 1 scrip, and when I asked for the name of the scrip, he gave me a list for 50 scrips. Isnt it funny, when one asks for a single scrip and then give you a list for 50 scrips. I was not ready for this much, so I simply denied.

I am always ready to help and share (what I want to share), and I believe in "neki kar dariya mein daal", but, certainly not ready to get trolled or abused or misbehaved. The taxation thread is a live example of this. And now I have stopped helping in that thread as well, after some rude incidents/experiences, trolling etc etc.

BTW, FYI, none of here may be knowing that I started a thread here on data sharing (still there), sometime back, where I shared data with everyone for almost 1 year. And that thread has helped me in learning the mentality of many members.

And I had to stop posting and sharing data there, only because of a member post.

May impact IT pack, but not NIFTY (NS) to that effect (and will forget that effect after a while)
and NIFTY (holding 9655) will continue with its move towards BRN and above

my view only

Does this supposed to impact our markets on monday??
Our IT stocks are no where near in comparison with those :D

Apparently, the US Tech stocks were the highfliers leading the bully rally like our Bank & Finance space.
It is said that its mostly profit booking and rotation rather than any news or gloom. Other indices are also up.

There isn't high correlation to our mkt but what one can learn is that recent buyers can get trapped if there is a sector rotation here. In the last week or 10 days, the Pharma index and almost all of its stocks have a near vertical ascent.

Rallies and declines thrive by trapping the other side, so one shouldn't be complacent. Our bull run has probably just started

In the webminar by Ramdeo Agrawal he recommends us to read Page no 6,7 and 8 of 2007 Annual report of Berkshire Hathaway written by Warren Buffet and read it many times.

I could not give a link here as it is not possible to copy paste the link, but one can google search and read these pages where Buffet talks about "Businesses- The Great, the Good and the Gruesome".

Great read on weekends....

Yes Ramdeo had talked about this a year back also. Everything looks so perfect in a bull market, but with everything priced so high I wonder what to buy and will it make money. Maruti has zipped pas 6000 to 7000 and beyond and I wish that I should have bought more....
