What are the parameters for growth measure?Smallcase has few filters based on momentum rank, value rank etc.Any sample screen at smallcase screener is generated? I remember you posting one for screener.in but I guess Zerodha Smallcase has better parameters.

Every bull market some different sectors lead and in current bull market, Consumer Finance,Home finance,Private Banks,Auto and auto ancillary sector are leading. So we invest in the leaders in these leading sectors. Our investment decision is primarily on the growth the company is showing and visibility of that growth in next few years. L & T ,though is a great stock, but still not surpassed its all time high.

There are some evergreen stocks like Asian Paints, HDFC Bank which are great stocks in all the bull markets.

In words of Ramdeo Agrawal, only 15-20 stocks will be growing at 30-40 or 60 % per annum...they are the Great....some 150 will be growing at 10-20 % those are Good and below that 2500 stocks growing at less than 10 % or giving negative growth...they are Gruesome...these stocks should not be in our portfolio.

India's factory output rises 3.1% in April

India’s factory output grew 3.1 percent in April from 2.7 percent in March, amid revival signs. However, the rebased data set may partly explain the expansion.

Last month, the government announced a new series, shifting the base year to 2011-12 from 2004-05, changing the weights and adding new items to reflect current consumption patterns. The change in baseline for the IIP, made by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) last month was much needed, in order to map economic activities more accurately and project realistic data.

Factory output measured by the index of industrial production (IIP) is the closest approximation for measuring economic activity in the country’s business landscape.

Not a big fan of ratio analysis...I go with growth in top line and also gross profit and net profit QOQ and YOY. You can go with small case filters also.

The small case I created is up 7.8 % in 3 weeks....some stocks like capital first and some private banks are proving a drag but all housing finance companies are up 10-36 % .Highest is PNB housing fin...giving 36 % in 3 weeks.

Was looking at the charts and realised that HDFC bank has gone up 33% in last 5 months. It was less than Rs 1200 in Jan 2017 and now it is at 1650...though I have it in my portfolio ,did not realise it went up so fast....:)
