Guys, If you haven't been around on traderji when the mother thread was alive, or not tracking that thread - please don't trade/post unless you have gone through the 60m flow thread thoroughly and understood all the nuances. Your posts can mislead junior members.

we use gap rule when we we have big WRB in pre, day & then we get big gap in our direction ..at that time we rev on 5 min bar trying to protect our profit

look at bars of 20 nov & 21 nov...

Even 8, 12 & 14 nov. are candidates for application of gap rules.

As per Rakeshluthra's rules a gap rule should be applies when there is a visual gap and the 1st bar is outside the range of last 2-3 days

and.... gap should always be atleast 2% difference between Open & previous bar close .Mainly it should be always VISUAL.

yeah ..but i will see(visual gap) it more has surpassing the prev few sessions close/open or crack of pivots rather then absolute % or just one prev session...

komal ..as i think we shift SAR from pivot to pivot ..not from bar to bar



..we will shift our sar only to a pivot made above our sar means made between our filter area

Very aptly put Vineet, I also think that we should shift our SAR only with pivots, not every bar.

I would like to Add that we should not move our SAR more than once, I have experienced it that after moving SAR twice hardly have I got out at lower price, it always turns the small losses into big ones

Today's gap looks visual to me... although no real wrb's yesterday.. or the day before.. so I never reverted to short.. please correct if I was wrong
