thanx a lot prabh sir, your advices always help learners like me to fine tune our trading ...

Very aptly put Vineet, I also think that we should shift our SAR only with pivots, not every bar.

I would like to Add that we should not move our SAR more than once, I have experienced it that after moving SAR twice hardly have I got out at lower price, it always turns the small losses into big ones

We keep a filter and taking it out demonstrates strength.....even our old filter does not get taken out by the breakout bar H2559,next bar H2568,next bar H 2571,next bar H 2575........the basis of the moving filter came from this thread,hidden now in tonnes of posts.....we have never needed to use it much over here thus far,but then there comes along a day like today.

The virtues of the breakout bar cannot be extolled enough......if the first bar doesn't get us in,the second bar.....when price blasts through a big filter,there is conviction for a reversal.And a limp breakout and the next and then the next.........without hitting the Filter,no conviction.Therefore short.

following or not is upto individual .. but this is what rule says ...

The Red words say that without hitting the filter. So even if filter is hit after 3 bars, we reverse position WITHOUT using moving filter.

identification of pivot high and pivot low

I am enclosing 2 files of nifty and ntpc. pls confirm pivot high and pivot low shown on chart by red and green line are correct or not ?
