Satya, Trust I am not confusiong people reading my posts!!! As I said, the position of 12 NOON bar at 1 PM was similar to the 3 PM bar at close. Now ofcourse the 12 Noon bar is a valid pivot, no two opinions about it, BUT at 1 PM, according to me it was not!!! Now we accepted the 12 Noon bar at 1 PM as a valid pivot, then why not the 3 PM bar a valid pivot at close!!! It is quiet possible that i am missing out something, or am having some pre conceived notion or a mental block that is creating confusion!!!! Would be haapy to get them removed.

Dear RK no you are not creating cofusion discussion with you experienced people helps us lot.....i have modified the 3 PM bar to call it as a pivot if it happened as follows then we may have a valid pivot

Satya , As I have said before, I would like to have two more bars after the 12 Noon bar to make lower high for the noon bar to be a pivot for me!!! As I have never taken such a move as a Pivot hence the query!!! I now understand!!! Just curious : Do you always take such move as a valid pivot!!! If yes, its simply fine, no problem at all.

Now another query:
Why should we not take the high of 3 PM bar as a valid pivot now!!! Its a valid a pivot as the previous one was at 1 PM!!! , so it seems to me. Please comment.

Dear RKK,

I think you have a valid point. 12 PM Bar could not have become PH until atleast 1 PM Bar completed. ( your preference is 2 PM Bar, very fine). Now 3 PM bar can become PH after the last 4 PM Bar. By your criteria, wait for the first 5 Min bar tomorrow.

Saint, an experienced Trader that he is, relies on visual effect and better understanding of the matter. But novice trader like me would better have some defined strategy, ie completion of 1 or 2 bars.

This is an attempt to get the doubts cleared. It seems my doubts emanate from the definition of a pivot that i have formed in my mind!!!

Satya had very kindly tried his best to clear my doubts, even went to the length of drawing artificial bars to make things clearer for me, but seems there is some mental block hindering me!!!

I have tried to follow Saints advise : "Go with the eye"!!!
