Hello Friends Bit off topic

As today is Expiry day in ICICI they told me if i dont close my position today it will be auto closed but they will not charge any brokerage as this expiry of contract will be done by exchange

If we can leave our position and open new position in Sept contract then we can save brokerage but we need same amount of money invested in August contract

Can we do this dont know much about how exchange expire our contract and in which price if anybody has any idea plese let us know

Brokerage is charged on all Fut and Options trade exercised on expiry except the opt trades which expire worthless (out of money ) So check with them again

Exchange squares your position as per Spot Nifty close in Nifty Futures and The Cash level at which the stocks close!!! This I am sure 100%, though not very sure whether the last traded pice is taken or the Average closing price!!!! Chances are the Average closing price of the underlying is used as the square off rates for Auto Square off by NSE!!!

You should make a folder containing intraday data with the help of Downloader in Metastock. Afterwards give a path to Metastock so that it reads data from this intraday folder. Intraday data you have to get from either PIB or any other source,or fill manually if you are keeping upto 30 min data,below that for smaller timeframes manual data entry will be too tedious.
