Short initiated NF based on 60min, due to gap down... entry below 4505.... SL 4657+
CMP 4500

Milky 4505 was First 5min low so we initiate short below that but at the time of trade initiation should we keep stop at high of that 5min bar or as usual 60 min stop bit confuse there

if you can describe different scenario with GAPs against our 60 min position then it will be great

Hi Satya,

I am not an expert to give you any description I am just trying to put my views on the trade,that I learnt from Saint....
When we have a gap, we use 5 min candle low to reverse a long trade(if we have one) and enter short... with SL as based on 60min... even if the high of the 5 min is taken there after... if there is further fall and 11am candle is formed... then 2 possibilities...
11 am candle took off the days high or unable to take off the days high
if took off the days high.. then above 11 am candle exit short and go long...
if did not take off the days high.... then above days high exit shorts and go long!
LOD as the SL reverse for the longs!
But do give enough room say 15 points !

I just gave my views... Saint will be the best person to clear this doubt!

NF for June 20th, Due to gap down we took our postion based on 5 min, as already we were trading below the 60min pivot low of 4549

So for the June Series so far...

Yesterday last candle in my chart shows high oh 4497. Today. 10 AM candle shows 4504. Can this not be considered as pivot high?

between today's high and 4657+ pivot high, there is no pivot low. So i feel today's high is not a pivot high.

In my chart, 3pm candle low is 4465.5 and high is 4493.6. On either side candles have higher high and higher lows. Can this 3pm candle not be considered as pivot low?

need some help, had bought 10 shares of L&T 2nd week of MAY 08 (DELIVERY) had them in my demat account at around 2900 after which have not been able to sell.
Some time back bonus of 1:1 was announced.
But now i donot know if i am eligible for the bonus , if i am then how long do i have to hold them or can i sell now or what.
Can experts recommend some thing i am already obliged

NF for June 23rd! Today we had a vertical fall, and made new lows, so the SL is now at 4395+ ...
