Going With The 60min Flow!!!

MJ please post the levels which you were posting in nifty and Aban. Please post only pure 60 min or what ever you want. Many of us want to tally our values with yours or else every one will try to post there doubt..

Hi today was basically doing nothing. Sit on hands day. Add above today's high +7. thats it...( 4230+7)
My SL was at LOD.

Today had monstrous Gap Up. SAR should have been 5 Min Low 4178 - 20 = 4158. The Next Bar low was 4151. Trade not reversed. Atleast I am confused.

What I understand is as follows....
If the gap is in the direction of the flow(which is long in our case today), we do not do anything. i.e No reversing at the break of 5 mins low.

On the other hand if we were short today at opening and markets open gap up, now we would wait for 5 min bar to complete and on break UP of 5 min bar on up we reverse to LONG.

This is my understanding.

Lets take yesterday's long, suppose we open today at yesterdays close and by 3:30 we are up. Now a few days go by and on Wednesday we have multiple WRB's taking us 200pts in 1 and half hour or so.
Thursday: market Gaps up 250pts, our SL is now at the low of 5min bar

The keyword here is Gap in our favour after PROLONGED move.
Hope we dont have to delve into this topic again now....best we clear this before monday open.

Surely it was not my intention to point out any lacunas. Nor was it to initiate any kind of discussion or debate. I was just expressing my limitations to understand even these simple methods.

I will trade as I have perceived it. If it is not good enough, Markets will throw me out.

60 mins pivot too far with a vertical move we use 30 mins pivot high
