Dear Amit
Analysis like these sheds the new light on importance of identifying the right pivots for reversal. So please be with us and guide us thru whenever we decide upon a pivot. This also can greatly simplify our confusion on whether to take a 30 min pivot or not under circumstances. Want to see more of your such posts.

Thank you very much
It is important for each and every trader who trade using this method to first "see" both variations.......and finally choose what one is comfortable with.

It is not about which pivot to trade and which to not trade...........You have to either trade em all.........or only trade the visually obvious. The choice of oscillating between the visually obvious pivot to the minor pivots does not exist........Therefore you have to see both variations clearly and follow what works for you.

But first,"see" them both.Trade using one.

Yes,Neeraj......the beauty of Flow lies in the 60.Now you have to define what type of pivot it is that you will take and which you will ignore.

The Aggressive Flow Trader trades all the pivots there is.......the Pure Flow Trader trades only that which is visually obvious after zooming out the charts. It is not about the 30 and the 60,it's about the type of pivots that each trades....

Saint
Not the beauty alone... The system is much stress free.

I feel, its better to remain pure as long as possible, so that we will avoid getting whipsawed. But like last trade when we have a risk points at 199 we should try to get in to aggressive mode, either by the way of 2 bar/30 minute method. Hope seniors will be able to analyze it and suggest something.

Also when ever we have confusion as to take or not to take some points lets begin a new Poll feature and based on the maximum votes we will take necessary action.
lol :D ......Sam,sincerely hoping you are pulling a fast one on us.Max votes for right course of action!!??!! lol :D

And jumping between Aggressive and Pure is like jumping from the Frying Pan into the Fire...............Treading on dangerous grounds,my friend, careful.

 No Amit Sir....I was just quoting Milind himself.....

I know only one term----Pure....
and sometimes the Pure group does get Aggressive when situation demands.

Milind--- You have landed me in trouble twice today.:eek: (just joking...)

Rakesh
The Pure can get Aggressive, but this Method calls for a stop and reversal........an aggressive stop is also an aggressive entry in the other direction, which is going against the Plan of the Pure Flow Trader.

Ah,my friend,I realise that you are trying to bring both variations under one heading...........but the guy who trades every pivot, and the guy who trades only the visually obvious pivots.....2 sets of rules, difference in how they react and what they see.....they are both different in how they trade, and importantly where they enter.

Shifting between Pure and Aggressive......hmm,my opinion, you will go wrong somewhere sometime.....So,careful,my friend.

Lol......Saint has this subtle, understated sense of humour which he uses very rarely but when he uses it, its a delite to read.

Looks like Ratan is having an influence on you sir :D:D

Thanks Saint for setting my mind to right track:), actually I want to trade the visually obvious pivots only and be a pure flow follower, but sometimes when the pure pivots not available in my comfort zone and MM does not allow me to go with farthest Visual Pivot I develop this dilemma, should I take non obvious one? That is the puzzle for me. I totally agree with you that one should not be mixing both.

Thanks again for your reply.

That is why I have shifted to Miniflow Saint so that I dont keep on jumping b/w fire , fry pan. Now comfortably using agressive method whenever I get a 20% pivotless move in stock futures and 250 pts. for Nifty.

Trading Stress free

M4UH,

In the 2nd scenario:That bar was the last bar of the day,our stops are where it was.....probably if next day,it opened at same levels, another sideways bar, then maybe we would have thought of raising stops,.....that is,the same high and low,but opened at same levels instead of gapping up,then it all looks different.

Stops were where it was.......and that gap up sort of negated the importance of that bar.
