Going With The 60min Flow!!!

A pivot is a retacement from original price, in this case a lower low on 60 min. bar thats it, no 5 bar or 5 finger analogy exists, a pivot is a pivot.

But yes the 3620 pivot can be called a doubtful one because there was difference of mere 15 pts . between the low of 2 bars i.e 11 am and 12 am bars, a visually obvious pivot should have had atleast 30-35 pts. difference.

I say it again, dont confuse the pivots with 5 bar etc. kind of a method, even a 4 or 3 bar move can form a pivot

Prabhjeet, Though I may not agree to other views posted by you above, but surely feel that the criteria of taking the difference between the Pivot Bar and Next bar to have a minimum X points only to be considered a valid Pivot is wrong!!!
We must have had scenarios in the past where lesser than 15 points difference was considered a valid Pivot!!!Vaguely remember coming across such Pivots while analysing the historical data!!!
Do think it over and let us discuss it, though I am quiet positive that I am not wrong, but would be happy to know if I am wrong so that may correct my errors in future!!

According to me ABAN short triggered at 1183-20 and RCAP long SAR at 807-11
Long in HDIL SAR at 112-2

dear smart trade i understand u dont trade wave structures here.even i dont know much about that. i m just a novice trader.i was reading the conversation about the pivot low whether formed or not so i thought that this aspect may give a hint to clear the confusion about pivot low nothing else.
the corrective wave may be profitable but i would also like to stick to the rules of this stratregy of not goping short before the break of pivot low.

I can attest to this. I definitely remember a few sideways pivots we've used, can't locate them now though.

Although a few people like myself would love to have more rules to work with, I know that the majority don't.

Maybe Saint planned this, or maybe he didn't, but the small amount of subjectivity left in his pivot method gives the traders here immense flexibility to customize their trades to be at peace with themselves. Kudos, Saint.

But I agree with what you said, if everyone posted their custom pivot method like I'm doing there'd be far too much confusion. Will try to keep that stuff at a minimum from now.

Hope all being discussed is for the 'Pure' method. For the Aggressive...what I know is that all pivots are to be respected.Distance between lows being less than 15....5 fingers...V U shapes...as if life is not complicated enough already.

Though I may be completely wrong...but that 'wrong' state gives me a chance to be at peace with myself. This doesnt mean I am unwilling to learn...but the learning which has to 'replace' something..has to come with more sound logic or should have a greater force to remove my unsound logics and reasoning.

Posting a chart.....I am not good at words.

Dear Rakesh in my veiw we should not use all the 30 min pivot for agrresive there must be certain scenario where we should use 30 min pivot .......

i m posting the chart which you have posted and why not taken 30 min pivots may be wrong but here we are to discus and learn
