Backtesting builds not only confidence... but one come across various situations... and starts looking into things in deep which helps... I hope many have back tested it... and if not... then time to do it

Even In a classroom everyone do not learn... there are few who do... and few who do not... I am sure and hope many have leaned things over here...

I dont know how and why....but you have posted most of what I was also feeling. I too have stopped posting trades contrary to the one held by 'majority' here.....

And no...though most dont want the fish here and actually want to learn....I feel the process of learning if faulty. Frankly....how many of us have personally backtested the method on a years data? Most would be content to read the posts by Saint and then go through his 'backtest' charts..... That I think is the real problem, does lead to lot of confidence-related issues.

And why the hell are we not able to see a pivot even after 5 months in this method....when Saint is trying to put it across to us one day after the other??? because we have in our minds an idealistic picture of how it should look and feel. Because we go too much into definitions....5 fingers etc.....and dont get the logic. Romanticism at its heights...

There is a limit to Saints patience also....dont let him give up on us. If we continue doing like this...God save us.

Its by manually extrating from TT to MS.
Its like:
1. Save Data to csv from TT.
2. Convertion to txt ms format is does through marcro automatically.
3. Then loads to MS.

I do this every 30 min.

SAM its Simple...

1. Save Data to csv from TT.
a. Just make the graph to 1 Day, Tick byTick (0 min).
b. Right Click and Click "Save Data To File".

Komal, no point in adding fresh short positions unless an add is justified following the regular method...we are too close to short term bottom in my mind and will not take any more short positions...will only enter when add to short is to be made or when we reverse our position to long...

Dear Saint -
NO WAY this thread is a waste of time and space.

I personally have been pouring over the thread of both intra day and 60 mins for last 3-4 weeks And I confess that there is a sea change in the way I have been trading and also making profits and that too with conviction and consistency.

Also let me tell you that even if the pivots are missed on my part does not mean that I should throw up my hands in despair. These are markets and everyday is a learning opportunity. I am happy that the market has thrown up a new opportunity for me to learn and NOT make the same mistake again. And above all remain disciplined and patient and remain sure of the risk and MM.

rest all the system will take care.

Been running from pillar to post ...
very very earnestly wanting to learn ...
met a few con jobs along the way ...
was very cynical about being able to learn from a public forum that to free of cost....
the feeling got reinforced when read a senior and very respected member talking about family jewels...
did try out your method (backtested it for few days), then some more (15 Months) ...

Life will never be same for me any more ....

Words are not enough to convey my feelings...just know that we owe everything to you. Not only our trading..our lives have improved. Our confidence...attitude...everything.

I think people claim huge losses are either not using Money management or using huge leverage. This method gives huge profits and no doubt in it. Small losses like these should not be a problem.

I like you what you say "Follow the method and market will put money into your pocket".

Your efforts are not gone waste in anyway. Market is still finding it's direction and so i will keep going with the flow no matter what is my end results are. Of course keep my pocket open for market to put money, don't mind giving a little bit.

I told you in my previous post that i recovered all my losses. I wiped off my trading account on my initial try. After i started following your method i have doubled my capital which covers my losses and also into huge profit now.

So your teachings never went wrong/waste.

MM and Risk management are very important. If not understood start from "teach a man fish....." class.

Hope we students(if not all there r some) didn't disappoint you.
