Yes, in a sideways move as on the 21st we take the bottom and top of the sideways action as PL and PH respectively.

if visual gap down then first 5min high + 20 is the SAR.

Long now in Nifty. SAR @ 2905 as per my chart.

Oh dear, please read Niftychance's rules a 2-3 pages back.

d.We are still trading the gaps the same way.......we have our SAR at previous pivot lows in an uptrend.Gap down next day below the pivot lows.Allow the 5min bar to form,Reverse Short below it.Instead we had a Gap down but above our pivot lows.Hold as always.We have had an uptrend and then a monster gap up ........ allow that first bar to form and short the 5min bar -Rs20.

we can use filter 20 after completion of this hourly bar if this hourly bar doesn't make new lows..so new SAR after this hourly bar 1002-20 = 982.
