Re: 60min Flow Trades for the Week: Saint's Method
NC,
I would request you to repost the rules that you have compiled.....I am too dis-organised for this task.
Rules/tweaks etc evolve a result of our observation of market action....and hence there would always be a scope to introduce a few new things which give better trades...discard a few which are working lesser efficiently etc.
In keeping with this...I am posting my observations about the Gap rules. Remember..I am going to talk here only abt gap in OUR favour. Gaps against us...we are clear in what we do. I had posted these earlier in the 60min thread..but had removed it fearing criticism
OK...now the rules we are going to use henceforth is like this: We look at the gap which opens above/below the market range of the last 2-3 days. It does not matter whether we get a HH/HL or LH/LL pattern before that...or if we got any WRB on the way...or how does the first opening bar of the day forms...or how many days the trend has been in force.
If we open above the range...we Short below the 5min low minus filter, vice versa for Longs. Also...didnt want to make a definite rules as to whether we use 2 days range or 3 days range. Going through the past data will make it amply clear for you what I mean to convey....
Posting a few charts to make this more clear. Also asking Saint Sir to post his comments on this rule.
Coming to your question of posting this weeks charts....yes will do it from the next weekend. A few more rules to discuss before we do that....Failed Break Out being the next in line. Im sure you will bear with me on this....
Wish you a Very Happy Birthday Saint....wishing you a great year ahead.
Rakesh
Wish you Many Happy return of the day Saint. May god bless you.
Rakesh, congratualtions on the new thread. Once and for all, if you could point to a definative rule guide for the method, it would help the newbies considerably.
Also as a matter of continous learning, it may be advisable by the moderator to post all trades of the week, SAR points etc at the end of the week so that all newbies can match thier decision points and correct errors in future. It will be nice if the last weeks trade points can be posted before Monday.
Great thread going again. congrats to Rakesh and Saint.
