Re: Live discussion Saint's - 60 minute flow

I'll go with blue line. At this line a topping tail high was overcome after taking support. On the red line, an inside bar bar formed, high of bar previous to this was not overcome. So red line does not present a strong support.

vin
Well said Vin. The four sideways candles should collectively be considered as a pivot, showing the change of trend.

Guys where do you think Short would have been trigerred .. Below Red line or blue line.

Hai Komal,
After trade when we check chart of prev trade we would get so many doubts in our trade. But that trading moment we take action which we our mind set.Any way I would go low of sideway movement.

Hi Komal,

I would take SAR at Red line. When in doubt, I would like to take cue from 30 Min Chart. And there is PL at Red line. May be this is not in tune with current Rules, just my view. :D

Cheers

Re: Live discussion Saint's - 60 minute flow

Yesterday I attended a spritual session at one of my friends house and this is what Guruji said
He says flee away your desire .... Get rid off your desire ... I asked how and he gave the same universal answer -- through Meditation and Satsang--.
I asked but why I shall supress my desire to which he said because `Desire Leads to Destruction` .. I asked but is it really true and he said GEETA says so.

I however hold a different view and believe that we have misinterpreted the divine words and have define it in our own way.
Why should one supress his/her desire. It is the Desire that has led to so much development in this world. Everything we see around was someones desire. Someone desire to fly and invented Airplane .. Someone desire to eradicate disease from the earth and invented Vaccines. Whatmore we ourself are result of desire .. desire of our parents.

Desire gives us hope ..desire gives us invincible energy .. Desire gives purpose to our life .. without any desire life is meaningless .. Desire is one element of existence .. without desire heart will just be a mechanical pumping machine and nothing else.
Lord Krishna itself was full of desire .. Radha was one of his desire.

Balram once asked Krishna did you kill Kansa beacuse of his desire to live forever. Krishna said no the path he chose to live eternally was not appropriate...Lord Krishna said desire is not right or wrong for which one is punished .. it is the path one choose to fulfill that desire is right or wrong.
He said the same for Duryodhna .. He said Duryodhna desire to be a King was not wrong .. the path he chose to enthrone himself was wrong.

You dont need to supress your desire .. just need to manage them.. manage them in a way that you always tread on the right path to fulfill them.
There is a very thin line between desire and greed and it is greed that leads to destruction... Now desire to have extra woman in your bed is nothing but pure greed ..
So keep your desire alive ...but free yourself from the greed.

Thanks
KomaL
Though not part of 60 minute flow still presented nicely. Thank you.

Re: 60min Flow Trades for the Week: Saint's Method

dear rakesh
I have a little bit doubt, most of them are short in NF clearly below 2726- filter, some even still long.my question is ur self & pakatil are short right from 2779 - filter, please explain it.
Great work Rakesh. Thankyou.

Have only one doubt. Trade 3 - what was the rational behind going short at 2769 less room? Does not look like a pivot to me? or is it?

In trade 1 adds at break of every down bar it very interesting. Seems like application of ideas of WRB from "Teach a man..." as this is not as per Saint's rules.Quoting Saint's add's rule "Where are the ADD points?Pivot points,in a WRB breakdown---below the breakdown bar."

Seems like majority here are comfortable with one bar pivots i.e., in a series of bars in down move even if one bar makes a higher low then the preceding bar is taken as a pivot to act on.

Guess I will have to go thru 60 min flow now post by post again as I think I am having a very different view then what you people are seeing.:(

Bee
I think many of us have doubts regarding the shorts taken at 2769- instead of 2726-.

First....lets ask ourselves, where were our stops going into trade on Friday? Were they at that clear pivots at 2688, or the low of WRB formed by 3 pm bar on Thursday (2726)? I had them at the WRB low......will discuss more about WRBs later as we go ahead in this thread.

Now coming to the trade. Friday, we had a lower opening bar, with the lows lower than the 3.30 bar of 4 Dec. The 11am bar proceeded lower...forming a low at 2769. Thereafter, the same bar moved up...taking out the pivot high at 2804. The moment it does it, we have a fresh breakout towards the long direction...now we are expecting the prices to move up....and so raise our stops up to 2769.

I dont know if I have been able to make this clearly understandable.....but see, fresh breakout....failure of that breakout immediately...leads us to have double conviction of going short at that pivot point of 2769. I know this doesnt satisfy the 3 finger rule etc etc...

Ok....lets take another scenario. Suppose the 11am bar were not to go just marginally higher and not challenge 2804. What would we do then? The response would have been different...we would have waited for a higher pivot to raise our stops and keep maintaining our stops at 2726- in that case. And one more thing..we are not looking at 30min charts in the flow now.

Hope its clear to all now.
Rakesh

Re: 60min Flow Trades for the Week: Saint's Method

srinishare sir..hi

the positions taken are aggresive... there is no question of major or minor pivots out here... see it do it... thats all

I hope things are a bit clear..

Simple

PS- rakesh bhai .. a few posts back i have uploaded DOW one hour...please check that out and correct me if PH and PL are wrongly marked

Simple :)
Simple,
Sorry.....could nt trace your Dow??(do you trade it?) chart. Please post the link again.

Re: 60min Flow Trades for the Week: Saint's Method

Dear rakesh, since this is a education thread, it would be good if you can mention the rule name along with the trade. like pivot break, gap rule, WRB break out, sideway break out etc

btw, what is meant by aggressive pivot, major, minor pivot. i am following hand example
I didnt get what you meant...I mean, I have marked the charts where reversals were taken. Isnt it clear on the charts whether this came by the breaking of pivots or WRB?

Now, please dont confuse yourself by getting into pure/aggressive pivots. Please go through the mother thread and be conversant with all the rules...this is just to help improve your own understanding of the system.

Re: 60min Flow Trades for the Week: Saint's Method

rakesh
Dont agree with you on LT.
Current position is short at breaking 735.35-filter(black line in the chart) with SAR now at 744+f(red line in the chart)

Why are you Long?????

Perhaps you are using a different filter ??? what is that ???

Anyone who is short in LT
Komal,
:) Its Ok to disagree...

Just that I tend to infer more from the WRB formed at 3pm on Thursday. Now....compare this with a similar move taken in Nifty....you will realise the difference.
Had the 11am bar of Friday taken out the highs of Thursday....I would definitely have gone short at that pivot. As of now...I consider it a sideways move with stops still at that WRB low.
