two consecutive bars high at around same place. can't we take them as pivot? and they are visually obvious also.

Was today a day to take aggressive gap reversal (low of opening 5m - filter)?

No Sir....in fact there was no gap today. Todays opening bar low is lesser than yesterdays close price.

Interesting - opening 5m in mychart showed 3082, some 15 points over yesterday close. But you are right - even in that case, too small to warrant aggressive reversal. My bad

Gap is not defined based on opening only ..look at the complete candle .. there should be a visual gap between previous day last candle and current day first candle. Simply opening price does not warrant a gap.
My view.

there are four down bars with clear visual pivot. how much more room you want. If pivot would have been not so clear you can consider hod .. but its a crystal clear pivot.
Moreover if you have this personal tweak of giving extra room and already decided to go with it then why confirming from the thread ... go for it.
