As they say "been there done that', used to have problem trading a breakout (buying at current high or selling at current low).

But after starting to follow this flow systems, day by day am getting used to it.

Tried. Not working. Moreover, my first 5 min bar shows the timestamp of 9.59 although I have selected in Pref->Intraday->time of last tick inside bar. Logically my last tick inside the first 5 min bar should be of 10.00.

If this gets solved, then entire problem solved.

If your amibroker is taking care of it properly could you pls attach your C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\broker.prefs here. Tks.

amit . i told you yest that this tweak is not simple to act upon means the move 1 should be clear & one sided but still we doesn't get entry in that move ..so entry on reverse is always aggresive..

Okay, from the above I understand that todays Move 1 was not clear and one sided. It was rather limp with a lot of tails on the 5 min. So while looking for entry in its reverse direction should NOT be aggressive? Correct?

i always prefer 11.00 bar to support move 1 to enter on reverse..if not then i wait for pivot to form.. as now we got clear pivot ..

this is my view point about this rule..

Again, if the 11.00 bar supports move 1 then you classify move 1 to be clear and one sided. Then reversals are strong.

I hope I have understood your words like you had intended.

Actually the timestamp on the first bar is 9.59.55. So if the setting is such that seconds are not being displayed, the timestamp would appear as 9.59 only. It's only the way its being displayed, and I think it is actually 5 min bar only.

reversal may or may not strong ..we are always ready with stops...

means i personlise the rule acc to my comfort level ..& i will do same everytime without having a doubt about it in my mind
