ST Sir,
Can we define that pivot as valid pivot to use small filter? Because in one of the posts, Saint Sir advised that if the pivot is within the first move, and the first move is not strong enough to call it as first move, then we should use Moving filter over the pivot.

I have used larger filter over that pivot to go short. Am I correct?

my levels r not matching yrs friend....my 11.30 low is quite less then wt u mentioned....and my 10.30 low is higher then yrs....
also my eyes r seeing different then wt u seeing .... u know wt st said above...there is no 100 % remedy for all trades...there r losses....this trade can turn out to be at loss trade.......

Okay, so you are using a version of the rules. Thats alright. I was just confirming that I have not misunderstood this particular rule.

well, thats depend upon you ..

if you think its clear pivot ..you can use SF & if you are not sure about the pivot you can use MF too...

that will always differ from person to person..

Short below 2569 - small filter. Once pivot is obtained use small filter for entry. Stoploss trailed to 2579 ( last hours high) + small filter. We have a tiny pivot at 2584 also to keep our SAR at.

If a pivot low is at 2569, my short entry is at 2562. If next bar makes a low of 2565. My question is then my entry will still be at 2562, or moved to 2565-7? Tks.

Amit, untill 2565 doesn't convert itself in pivot we will not shift our entry there..we call this moving our filter & it is shift only from pivot to pivot..

plz don't confuse it with moving filter

Sorry manoj, was away from the computer and missed your querry.

In miniflow,we trade all pivots even the tiny ones. PL at 10 :30 bar was a good PL to take a short entry with small filter in my view.

Entry still at 2562. But if 2565 subsequently becomes a PL then move the entry to 2565-7
