TIME FRAME CONVERGENCE

I will give you a short description of Time Frame Convergence. It is a concept of Multiple Timeframes. We have our main TF as 30 min but many a times 30 min speaks too late and there is no indication such as pivot, breakout failures etc . But 30 and 60 min TF are starting their moves and 15 has already started. We take advantage of this early start on 15 Min TF to have early entry.

Suppose 15 min has a PL but 30 is still silent. Then do we enter on only 15 min pivot ? The answer is CLEAR NO. But when we have a situation when 15 min PL is breaking and a 30 min completed bar is showing black candle and/or 60 min is also bearish,we know that all TF are converging to going short below 15 min PL.

Todays short and long signal both had TimeFrame convergence in them. Study these charts and find out yourself....apply your mind...it is easy...you will get it...I leave the homework to you ,friends...

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

This TF convergence was always part of miniflow system. Read initial posts of Saint sir....This not many were using as bit of thinking required, not straightforward like break of any particular level. But if someone can appreciate TF convergence and trades it,it will put him light years ahead than other daytraders. So we must use it as it gives early and fairly definate entries.

But was certainly part of miniflow from day 1.

Fully agree with you, ST....
This basic soul of mini-flow, which warrants a convergence of various timeframes for appropriate trade entry, had actually helped me a lot to view things from higher TF's perspective & thus, be more confident & comfortable with pivot breaks or breakout/breakdown failure.
Just a visual confirmation, sans any technical indicator, blah blah, and you know your trade direction is with the trend.

And all this coz of Saint Sir who used to patiently teach us & actually show us in live mkt hours, what it is & how it is to be done.
Initially, I used to consider it very mechanical with lots of rules, but over time & patient learning, I have realised that it is really more like an art rather than science. I had to obviously adapt it to my personal comfort way, but the spirit/essence of this method always guides me. I have learnt to give equal importance to both 1min & 30min charts. :)

Many full-time traders say price movement is the BEST indicator - this method gives life to this saying.
To critics, I would just say that keeping things simple is only a matter of personal choice, and not a sign of weakness.

Agree with every word written above Sunil, you have experience of trading various timeframes and you put it so nicely. Could not add a word to it will just say "agree in toto."

ST da wonderful explanation. Initially i was getting confused with this concept, I am now even more confident of this method. If only I had time to trade with this method :( [I am adopting 60min flow]... I am jealous of the way you guys are milking money from the market... :thumb: Good luck :)...

....but one of your charts is 30min TF.Anyway today's price movement is the best example of this concept.

HI ST
Today the 15 minute bars gave very vital clues as to the reversal. Pl see the chart attatched.
I look forward to your expert comments pl.
Yes my friend...15 gives early start but make sure 30 or/and 60 agree with 15 min .If they do you have a strong case for a trade....if they dont...we are in for many false starts. I am sure you will avoid these false starts.:clapping::clapping:
