Going with the Intraday Mini-Flow!!

11:15 15min bar PH in convergence with 30 and 60 min
so may we use 15min PH + SF to enter long .
Please clarify this will help me in understanding multi time frame convergence

Oh.... Sorry Kinkhab! Missed your post .
IMO, At 11.15, there was no PH confirmed yet on 15TF. 60 Min bar was still in progress ( not completed. Even Though, 11.00 bar of 60 min was completed, its high was not matching with 11.15). There was no pivot made on 30 min.

The TF convergence concept is more related to the type of candlestick for ex ... like Doji at the end of uptrend/downtrend and when this happens and at that time when PH/PL on 15 is corresponding with high low of 30/60 for such peculiar candlestick, then only we can say that Tf are converging.

This is only one example and there are other situations w.r.t to type of candle with its position where we can say that TF occurred like WRB on 30/60 at the end of uptrend/dowmntrend.

Hope I am able to explain what I want to say.

i feel while trading its very imp to see the big picture.If we go on daily we can see that market has moved up quite a bit and is now consolidating.so on these days its imp to avoid overtrading.so i feel it would be better to use large filter where ever possible.
SAINT sir, ST sir, vineet sir can u say something on this thought process.

you are very right ..but my experience is that when i keep previous history in my mind , i hesitate in pulling trigger sometime seeing some support\resistance of previous days...so for miniflow i like to erase all previous days history ...

my be its my fault but this suits me better ..

Veenet and ST please post the levels time to time with explanation if ur time permits so that we(the newbees) can compare it with our calculation.

I think, those who have backtested and forward tested their own tweaks and are COMFORTABLE using it, it will result in better trades. but there should not be too much tweaks which will lead to confusion... as Vineet rightly pointed out.... and destroy our trades.

True. I agree with you Vineet. Even I had experienced similar situations. When we follow a system, we should not get confused with other factors.

Boring day so far...:fatigue::fatigue:Now they are thinking of increasing the trading time from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm then we trade Gold and other commodities till 11:30.
