ST sir though the short triggered before the 2:00PM bar completion, had it not triggered why we would shift SAR. I thought that once we had a pivot we keep the trade at low-sf till we get new pivot without triggering our trade?

Kindly explain at your convenience.

Consider the situation where you short got missed by 3 pts and that 30 min bar made a low of... say ... 2980. Hence your initial short was at 2983 but now your new short trigger will be 2980-7 i.e. 2973

Thank you amit for your reply. I also want to know that since we had a pivot on 15min and 30 min do we not keep the trade at same level. I thought, Moving filter is required only at taking the 1st trade on first 5min bar.

Dont go by the name. Lock onto the concept.

We move our entry trigger so that we get in at strong moves. Same for MovFil type and same for pivot type entries. Just that filter values vary as per the reliability of the pattern.

As I understood moving filter comes if there is no pivot in 30 min chart. I also failed to understand ST's post. Waiting for his clarification post.

I believe 1:30 bar high. that is a pivot high as well.
