I am still long because of Mov filter applied to pivots bar by bar.

For all who are short,SAR at 3006+f on pivot H or 2999 +f on breakdown failure.

IMHO... 3.00 bar is a WRB. Hence stop could be placed at its high+sf.

Please prove me wrong or join me... harsh, manoj, flock.

This is an intraday thread and method.....we close all open positions at day's end. We dont carry any position home.

Dear Amit,
As I understood moving filter comes if there is no pivot in 30 min chart. I also failed to understand ST's post. Waiting for his clarification post.

Gandhi bhai... what sir means is that if your pivot entry is not filled by the next bar high (call it bar1) then when bar1 completes, move you trigger to bar1 high+sf, do it repeated until a strong moves comes by to take our your filter.

He is extending this moving filter concept from just MovFil to pivot entries as well.

this method is for intra day trading only..there is another method-60min flow where u can carry position to another day..

ST, the 3.00 bar mustve got you out. Unless of course if you are using very large filter for reversal. Pls mention, just this one time, the value of your sf.

Oh...sorry LVG...missed yr post. Yes as per the explanation given by Amit.I normally will trail for 1-2 bars to make sure I dont enter on a narrow break. But after 2 bars dont trail as it becomes open ended loss situation which we have to avoid.
