Off Topic : Just mentioning my observation. If any bar on 30 min closes strongly, generally we look to add over it with filter and it most off the time it is observed that our add triggers, may be in next bar or after 2-3 bars.. but it triggers most of time.

Then why not to add immediately on the close of such strong bar. By doing this we can have better R:R and we can earn / save the filter points.

Just my observation and opinion.

offtopic : the design of the traderji interface is such that whenever i refresh the page (i m using 40 post per page option).....the screen will put my last post in front of the screen...does anyone experience this....:rofl: :clap:

Apparently, Yes. I seems to be keeping track of the last page and the post that one has read... nice.

This is not true on reversal days or non trending days. Those false adds will bleed you.
The small filter is used to enter if there is any sign of continuation.

Yes Amit.. you are right. Thats why I said " Most of the time our add triggers". and if we adopt this strategy to add, then one should be very cautious on removing this add once we see the trade is not going in our add direction / showing signs of reversal ( for that too we should have plan to remove adds. One more thing ... one should be consistent in doing this.

Not backtested . It is just an overall observation. Definitely one can adopt it after thorough back testing. Will do it soon.

You are right in that aspect Manoj... but do you realize that with such bits added onto your system it gets very difficult (for my mind atleast) to follow in RT. Besides, this may not significantly add to ones edge. No major change...

In fact I am willing to sacrifice 5 more points if someone has a way of making execution simpler
