Great going on NF TRADE .....nice!!

HDIL:Took it above 5min high,in intraday and 60 min Flow......unlike NF did not get stopped out and short and long again....so gains there sweeter.

Got in long HDIL,reversed to short and closed trade after the upmove,
Can you please share the filters for HDIL.....made a mistake today then.

Sorry MJ you were stopped out of your long trade in HDIL due to may be a bit lesser filter of 0.5 for stops, had worked well for me since many days.

May be we can ask Saint about it, myself still using 1/0.5 filter

Yes if Saint could share his filter would be nice. When i backtested I found 3/2 to be useful.

pretty big filters, but whipsaw is very very less, maybe twice a month or less.

I was thinking filter in % terms plus daily volatility, is it not so ?
Ex. for nifty of 4000 we have filter of 15, then 100 rs share filter = 0.38 + volatility compare to nifty ( beta value ) suppose its 1.5 then filter is 1.5 + 0.38 = 1.43 rs.
