NF touched twice 3250 in 30 min chart and thrice in 15 min chart, and couldn't cross after 14:15

These are terrible days in NF.......Can chop you all over the place. But if you have your strategies in place and limited your losses or even made partial profits ......Great going and well done.

And for those relatively new at this......suggestion from my end,try trading the stock futures with a decent chart where you can first spot the Flow easily and therefore capitalise on it.After you are good at this, add NF as well to your list.

The only difference is
Third trade short triggered at 3187
and for the first trade I think you meant short @ 3142
Thanks corrected it is 3142. We considered 3216 as PL in 15 min chart for third trade. Else net would have been still less.

If it is only one lot,
then
first trade S at 3196 E at 3196 net is -54
second trade L at 3196 E at 3209 net +13
Third trade S at 3209 E at 3214 net -5
Fourth trade L at 3214 E at 3210 net -4
gross net -50.
ehh if one lot its not possible .. but with more than one, one can be break even atleast on partial profit booking @ 2nd trade l at 3240 = +44 , third trade s partial book profit at 3170 = + 39 , 4th trade l book aprtial profit at 3245 = +40
whoever done that must be at least break even or sum profit depend on how much they scalped/ booked partial profit.
partial profit by new rules states that on initial risk, key reversal signals like hammer, 60 min candle etc..

Rakesh all these things put "I" in our trade, so for me all trades are to be treated alike, I have accepted in my mind that we will have some bad days :)
I dont think so Prabh....when there is a clear cut method laid out even before entering a trade...then the I is already out. Yes, these rules suggest some conservatism, which may have reflected the "i"...but then thats ok. Some bit of realism, I guess.
Thanks for your views anyways..I will surely revisit these rules after a few days to see their value.

Reasons for no PB if first trade was at loss or marginally profitable during second trade is not understood by me. Can you explain?
There is no reason at all...all I want here is One big trade a day.If its the 1st trade...I am not booking profits. If its not the 1st but 2nd...again I wait for the big profits.

Hope this clarifies.

Dear Saint
What is the stock future one should choose to trade if one has to trade only one at a time.

Saint,

Any particular reason for trading with stock futures? Why not day trade in the cash market? Makes it easier to manage risk with the single share lot sizes on the cash markets.

Congratulations to those who made profits today. Those who lost; you have got a lot more in the past. It is God's way of Socialism, taking a little from you and distributing to others. Your days of great profits is not far away. Cheer up!!
