How is initial risk 33 points. Please explain.

Is it the rule that we exit 50% when reward=risk. Or when we start with gap down, as soon as gap is made up exit 50%. Pl comment

Hi Milky, Please dont think it is an argument!!! Trying to clear the exit rule for part quantity.....

Hi /Lo of Morning bar : 4177.80/4154
Range : 4178-4154=24 points
Go long at 4178+9=4187
SAR at : 4154-9=4145
Initial risk at : 4187-4145=42 points!!!

Do we ignore the 9 points filter we give for reversal!!!???

When trading 6 lots... exit 2 lots if risk=reward achieved(hold if some good move happens)

Hello RK Sir,

First of all I understand no argument and all that

I had got in long at 4181 (my bar high was 4171.35)
My bar low was 4157 ... So SL 4148

So risk 4181-4148 = 33 points....

No we do not eliminate this 9 point as room... the entry and exit was as per my chart values! Might be bit different for others!

VPS, Once more I suggest to kindly read the rules set by Saint . Its fine to ask how do we calculate the initial risk but asking whether there is a rule to exit part qty. etc... refer to Saints rule, will help u in the long run... if I postr here yes , there is a rule and that ends the matter for you!! Why not read it first hand. Better to learn it the hard way :

PROFITS: If long 6 lots, with a stop loss Rs50 away, once we get a Rs50move,will take off 2 lots ....unless we get a blast off move. Then I am sitting pretty with 10lots till the end of day.

At the end of day, there is pulling out of positions .......basically because want to be out of all before close. So no real rationale as to why there, and not Rs2 ago.

I didnot understand the rule well. Thought it applies to only those who start with 10 lots. It needs all kinds of ppl to make the world. I'm one of them ha, ha. No ill feelings pl.

My SL is still at 4148

If hit my average exit will be 4181
Entry 4181... will be a break even day in that case...

If follow the earlier rule then the SL is at 4169

In that case avg exit will be 4191.5
Entry 4181... gain of 10 pts...

As the system is yet being tested... will consider all the possibilities of entry and corresponding exits... until finalized!
