Today's first trade was long at 2760 With SAR 2706
Second trade was Short from 2706. With SAR initiall 2782, then 2766 finally2715 as 12:45 bar in 15 TF had PH and 30 min chart was having reversal bar ie bottom tail bar at 12:30 and 60 TF had green bar.
Thus third trade was taken long at 2715 initiaaly SAR 2659 and then 2668.
Finally fourth trade Short at 2668.
Shall answer later on in the day.........in brief: Don't look at reversal bars if any on the 30,it is the 60 wherewe are looking at reversal bars, etc

Every bar on the 60 is not something we take action upon.......in today's case, what we had was a WRB Breakdown from 2 sideways bars followed by a resting bar that was way below the 50% of that WRB,meaning, only on negation of the entire wrb,do we think of reversing.

More later......basically a yawn,do-nothing-much sort of a day.

Hello Seniors,
I am new to this forum and traderji ( although had registered long time back but only started reading/following since last few days). I have gone through Saint Sir's thread : Teach a Man to Fish.... and have learned a lot. I believe my journey as a student of Market has just begun.
I have been following this mini-flow for last few days and have gone through most of the posts including all the rules. Things are yet to be crystal clear. I will really appreciate if any of the seniors can explain todays trades with explanation. I know the explanation has been done everytime the trade was done. However it will be really nice if it can be put on one post.
Thanks.
SAint Sir: Thank you very much for the efforts you are putting in for others. Very much appreciated. God Bless you!

either opt for a new broker for the second account
or
open a new account with the current broker, but the account should be a joint account with your relative & your name as 1st holder...

better still, (which i do, if u wanna have one account & one broker), use various nifty instruments:
Nifty Fut - 1M
Nifty Fut - 2M
Mini Nifty - 1M

(1M = current month series, 2M = next month series)
Sunil,

Sorry to differ. Trading accounts as per my information cannot be opened in joint names. Demat a/c can be but not trading a/c.But what is the problem in trading both positions in the same account ?

Regards,

ST

Hi Saint,
Today total 4 trades and all losing trades. Lost a lot in today's trades. This reflects that we are still not much comprehend with this method, particularly the reversals in sideways market. It will be very kind of you if you can verify the SAR's before they actually get hit. It will not only help reducing the losses incur but will also help to learn the method well. Looking forward for your support as always. Thanks,

Of late the Volatility in markets has increased tremendously. It is better to
review the STOPLOSS mechanism or increase the Stoploss.

Re: Rakesh Jhunjhunwala

See what Rakesh Jhunjhunwala (India's Waren Buffett) is doing at http://rakesh-jhunjhunwala.blogspot.com and also learn some valuable tips from Warren Buffett at http://i-am-warrenbuffet.blogspot.com
Hi Sonika,
Welcome in this forum but this is not the correct place to post such links since most of the guys here doing exactly the opposite thing what Rakesh was doing a year back (I can't comment what he is doing now a days, means short or long :)). But as far as this year is concerned most of the guys here were/are short and not much interested in knowing what Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is doing. :)

Ya ST u r right... I had meant that only.... a new account all-together (demat + trading)..
I was just replying to a query by CoolCool - he may be having a problem with maintaining to two diff. positions in one account...
I prefer to have one account, and use Big Nifty, Mini Nifty, 1M or 2M, or Options for taking trades...
Increased turnover reduces brok. cost too...

BTW, that breakout/reversal failure query post of yours had come handy today.... I had just posted that last night at our library... here
THANKS to you & Saint Sir
;)
